Happy Hoppy Boarding Customers

Jacqui, Droitwich (owner of Benjy) writes:
Di has looked after all my pets for a number of years now. I always know they are in the most capable pair of hands and feel reassured when I go away. The custom built accommodation made by Di's husband Bob is fantastically spacious and everything is ultra clean and hygienic with every hutch being disinfected before becoming 'home' to another furry resident.

As a member of RWA Di is up to date with the latest health developments, giving freely of her time to raise awareness and funds for them, and has a wealth of experience and a real knack for quickly getting to know each individual animal's personality. Her commonsense, humour and confidence go down a treat with pets and humans alike!
If Di ever mentions that rabbits need 'sex' - don't panic! 'SECS' actually stands for space, exercise, companionship and stimulation, a popular RWA acronym - and something that over the years her own beloved rabbits and guinea pigs have had in abundance. Di's prices are also extremely reasonable and I know I couldn't leave my gang with a better person.

June Marshall, owner of Barnaby, (pictured right) writes:
"I am very happy to take my rabbit barnaby to Di at Hoppy Holidays. I always go away with peace of mind as I know he will be very well looked after, be secure and comfortable with lots of TLC."
And Barnaby himself writes:
"Hi, I love going to stay with Aunty Di's at Hoppy Holidays as she always looks after me very well and gives me lots of cuddles and TLC"
June Butler, owner of Oscar, writes:
"Thank you Di for all your support over the past few years. Being an 'older mum' and first time bunny owner, your knowledge and caring for small animals, especially bunnies, was an inspiration to me. You always seem to find time to give advice, shop for food-hay-straw etc, and run little ones to the vets. It's lovely to have a friend who shares one's passion for animals. Ps Love the holiday texts!"

And Oscar (pictured right ) writes:
"My name is Oscar. I am six years old. I live with my mum in the house and I have my own garden. Aunty Di gave me my title of HRH - she obviously recognises a superior, aristocratic bunny. I expect the best of everything and Aunty Di meets all of my demands and I look forward to her visits."
Sarah, owner of Lenny, Rox and Otis (rats) writes:
"I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Di and Hoppy Holidays to anyone with a small pet. My boys were very well looked after and all their needs catered for".
Charlotte Evans writes:
"Di has been helping me with my bunnies for five years now and has become a great friend as well as much loved valued bunny helper. She looks after them when I go away, and - because I live just a few doors away - she also helps me on a daily basis in the winter months - tucking them up in the house all safe and sound ahead of the dark nights. She brings them little treats, cuddles and talks to them... She takes care of them when they're poorly and I am working long hours. She is an absolute star!"

Emma, owner of Daddy Piggy, Patches o"Houlahan, Ginger Pants and Maisie (guinea pigs) writes:
Many thanks again Di for taking such good care of my piggies, they are still a bit sulky about having to leave you!
And Daddy Piggy, Patches o"Houlahan, Ginger Pants and Maisie write:
We always love going to stay at Hoppy Holidays because Auntie Di takes really good care of us. We get lots of fresh air, exercise, cuddles and yummy food. We also get to make lots of lovely new friends. To be honest we wish our mum and dad would go on holiday more often!
Karen and Steve Bearcroft, owners of Rupert and Mary (Bunnies) write:
Thank you so much for looking after Mary and Rupert. It gives us a real peace of mind knowing they are with you, and we really appreciate it.
Steph (the dog) who belongs to Kate Wilson writes:
Hi - my name is Steph and I am really not keen on other dogs!! When my owners go away I would much rather stay in my own home and sleep in my own bed and that's where Aunty Di comes in... she takes great care of me and visits me at regular intervals throughout the day to take me for lovely walks!! It's so much nicer at home and I couldn't be in safer hands!

Molly (rabbit) owned by Suzan writes:
My name is Molly (I am a boy - don't ask) and I've been staying with Aunty Di for quite some time. I love going to stay, and my mummy knows that I am in good hands when I go and visit. I'm a special bunny because I have a special ear that requires daily cleaning using a cotton bud and a syringe, Aunty Di does such a great job when I go and stay and I happily sit whilst she helps me clean my ear.
I went to stay at Aunty Di's house last September and I was very much looking forward to my visit, however I have been on antibiotics for some time for my ear and unfortunately my tummy decided to get upset two days before my mummy was due to go away! My tummy was quite sore which meant I didn't feel like eating. I didn't even want to eat any carrots which are my favourite! My mummy was very worried about me and whisked me off to the vets who told me I must eat something! Mummy didn't know what to do and whether she should leave me. However Aunty Di told my mummy she would do her very best for me so mummy decided to let me go on my hoppy holiday.
Well I arrived in a right state at Aunty Di's - I didn't want to eat and I was very quiet. Aunty Di syringe fed me my food because it was important for me not to have an empty tummy. She also tried to give me nice blackberry leaves and herbs. She left my mummy a voicemail to let her know I was ok which my mummy received when she landed. I was still feeling a bit yuck the next day so Aunty Di syringe fed me again as well as cleaned my ear! Aunty Di checked on me all the time, and kept trying to iencourage me to eat bits of food. She text my mummy constantly throughout the day which made my mummy feel better! Over the next few days Aunty Di kept offering lots of nice food to eat and I started to feel much better! She even had a chat to my vet who has looked after me for a number of years to update her on how I was feeling! Towards the end of my stay I was feeling so much better, and Aunty Di made sure I was fed, warm and had toys to play with.
When my mummy came and picked me up she was so relieved I was ok! My mummy is so thankful to Aunti Di and has complete trust in her, especially as I am a special needs bunny! If it wasn't for Aunty Di giving me lots of TLC I may not be here to tell my story!
My mummy feels very lucky to know that I am well cared for when I go and stay and that should the worst happen and I become ill, both mummy and I know I will be very well cared for. I am now back to full health and my favourite things to do are to chew mummys new carpet and to rip newspaper. I love going to stay with Aunty Di, and I keep coming back year after year!
